Interesting day

What a day!! My little car, which is very old but still fairly reliable, was hit today. I was on a roundabout turning right and another car came onto the roundabout whilst I was still on it and smashed my light and a bit of the bonnet in. I was very nice about it. I really hate it when I see people shouting and screaming at each other on the road. My insurance company have told me that the car will probably be wrote off which means I will only get the bottom value of the car. So we will see what happens. Thankfully no one was hurt and my dd was not in the car at the time. So for the time being I will be on foot. Hopefully the weather will stay nice for a bit. It has been glorious the last couple of days.

On to a nicer note - I phoned Thread Bear up and have ordered A Most Noble Pursuit and the thread pack and the linen. Also the La D Da chart Polly Wolly Doodle. It uses NPI silks three of which are in the thread pack and I will need three more. Kate at Thread Bear said she would order the three threads in for me but agreed I could probably get away with substitute colours from the thread pack. I have a few NPIs at home too. So what I saved in not buying the extra threads, I ordered a blackbird chart Glad Tidings.
glad tidings
I have also joined the Loose Feathers club and ticked to get the linen cut as well. Apparently I got the last space!! So that is something to look forward to every other month. Okay I'm going to chill out now!

Car accidents are never fun but I'm glad no one was hurt. Your charts look like a lot of fun.

Oh, I'm so glad to hear you are okay, Hazel! Too bad about the car, Hun... :-(

I just love the charts you've ordered! I ordered A Most Noble Pursuit from Drema at Needlecraft Corner and it's come in... so it should be here the first of next week! :-) I can't wait to start it... she didn't have the fabby I wanted in stock... so I've got to wait on it. I love the La-D-Da as well... and the Blackbird is gorgeous! I love all their charts! Great stashing, Hun! :-)

PS... Maybe we can stitch A Most Noble Pursuit together!

Hello Hazel! Thanks for stopping by my blog; it is nice to "meet" a fellow believer and stitching friend! So sorry to hear about your accident. :( Sounds like you have some great stash on the way. I'm contemplating joining loose feathers again...I used to collect the charts but then stopped as I had so many. I really like the newest one.

Lovely blog!

So sorry to hear about your car, thankfully no one was injured It is a real pain when a car is older but reliable and something happens, as you get nowhere near the value that it truly has. I hope you find something that works for you soon.

Your new projects sound fun, I'll look forward to seeing pictures when you get them started.

It will be at least a month or so before I can start the SAL for A Most Noble Pursuit, Hazel... so no hurry, Hun! I'm waiting on my fabby... and I've still got to order all my NPI Silks...

I am so looking forward to this! :-)
