Two posts in one day!!

Just finished my first ever pinkeep!! Now to all you finishing experts pls don't laugh at my feeble attempt!! As you can see - it's not quite centered and all the pins are different colours and I made the mistake of cutting the backing fabric corners out which made it start to fray a little which I quickly hid with ribbon!! Thank you to Carol for the link which provided the instructions. It's far from perfect but I am very proud of it - even if I may say so myself!
First ever pinkeep April 2007 finish
It is a freebie from Carriage House back when they were called Barrick Samplers and stitched x2 on 32 count linen and uses NPI silks. Thanks for looking.

I think it turned out great, very cute pattern, and I don't see any problems with your finishing. I haven't made a pinkeep yet, but it is on my list of things I want to make this year, along with a flatfold.

This is just lovely and I didn't see any of the imperfections and would never have guessed there were any unless you'd said, it's fab :) (lovely stash too!)

Hiya Hazel,

Thanks for dropping by my blog :)

That's a very pretty pinkeep, the design and colours just perfect. Nevermind about the boo boos, we all learn from them :)

I want to stitch Cheryl's Bouquet too. I intend to use Carrie's Thread just like you. Rest assured I'll be keeping tabs on CB's progress!
