Twilight Shimmer Take 2

Well I really did do my best on this April's SAL although it doesn't look like I did much. There was a lot of blocky grey which as Carol puts it "Yawn Stitching". I will be glad to get onto some of the picture of the girl and the fairy. I think there will be a fairy (or it may just show as a glow) in the empty circle bit on the left. Well I am glad to leave it for another month anyway easy stitching as it is. No confetti on this one as yet! Funny thing is, I recently got a nice comment on my webshots about my first pic of this which was a bit strange as its nothing but a grey blue blob at the minute. Don't know who gave me the nice comment - if it was you then thank you but I have a feeling someone perhaps thought they may be winding me up.

Twilight Shimmer Take 2 April SAL

Thank you to everyone who left a lovely comment for my dd. She was really chuffed! Happy stitching this week everyone.

Looks like Twilight Shimmer is coming along nicely - and its going to be a beauty when its done! I love that fairy. I wish my Motherhood QS would hurry up and get to the blocks of color - I think I'm close though - the only drawback is its mostly white on white fabric or big blocks of kreinik. blech.... lol. :) Keep up the good work!! :)

It looks like it's coming along great. That bit is pretty monochromatic though!

Oh my, that piece does take dedication to get through! I am sure it will be worth it in the end :-)

I'm sorry Hazel, it must seem like I'm not visiting.....I am, but there's something not right somewhere (I suspect it's my AOL) I was here yesterday and it didn't show any updated posts :(

I would definitely have remembered your lovely DD's stitching (and commented too, which I am just about to go and see to now ).

There's something not right, but rest assured, I'm here checking all the time, and commenting to let you know I've visited when you post :)

Twilight Shimmer is coming along nicely, Hazel... and it's going to be so gorgeous when you're done... :-)

My fabric for A Most Noble Pursuit has still not arrived. Drema said hopefully, if will be here by the end of the month. :-) I hope you are feeling well and everything is okay with you, Sweetie...

The colors are so pretty. Glad that it is easy stitching so far, without a lot of confetti stitches. Confetti does add so much to the detail, but it is such a pain to do. Do you have a link to what it looks like finished?

What a lot of stitching!!! However, they say these are addictive.
What an adorable picture of your daughter stitching. She looks so concentrated.
