Winter House exchange from Karen

Wow all the way from Australia! Karen sent me this gorgeous pinkeep of a LHN design and she sent me some wonderful extras too. Some six strand sweets, another perle thread which is beautiful, several other threads in a blue range, some pretty printed fabric which I am sure to use, some butterfly buttons and a fab notebook!

Winter House sbebb from Karen

Thanks so much Karen, I love it. This was my last exchange from the sbebb as it is closing down. I'll miss it. It was a lovely group of exchangers and I have learnt a lot from it.

For any readers wondering why they can no longer read the Beatrix Potter SAL. I have had to make this blog private due to a hacker getting in and using it to spam (possibly) dangerous adverts. It is now only open to its members only although this is up for a vote. I am sorry for all the well meaning and honest people out there who genuinely did just want to read but I have had to do it for the safety of the members. I have never come across this before so have taken what I believed was the right course of action. Hope you will understand.

Have a fab week and thank you for all the encouragement on the french mystery. I am up to the last part!
xx

A lovely exchange and so many extras.

Are you sure you can't just blog the person who is doing the spam? I used to do it with my email and as spam often comes from the same address with a different name. If you delete the name before the @ you block an awful lot in one go. Your ability to do this will depend upon who is providing your blog.

Angela - no because members accounts have been hijacked. it is not them who are doing the spamming but it is in their name.

Lovely exchange from Karen.

I just want to say thank you for trying to keep us safe on the BP SAL blog. It's a shame you've had to make it private but I can totally understand why.

Is there any way that you can allow people to view the Beatrix Potter after you have 'approved' them. I was really enjoying reading the SAL Blog.

Great exchange. So sorry to hear about your problems with the spammer. I so do not understand why people do that, and why they seem to enjoy it. I hope you can get it straightened out and blocked as I enjoyed following everyones progress.

Sorry to hear that someone was malicious towards your BP blog - that's the downside of the open access on the Internet, but thankfully you have protected it now. The upside of WWW is being able to keep in touch with our Stitching friends :-) Lets not allow such awful people spoil our fun eh? Snow all gone now, but its still chilly here in South Buckinghamshire :-) Spring will soon be here. xx

I'm sorry for the hassle you've had with the Beatrix blog. We all love you for making it available for those of us who really need the inspiration to get our BPs going!

You've received a very nice exchnage package with some great goodies and a wonderful Winter House.
Sorry to read that you had problems with the BP blog. I was already wondering why I couldn't look at the pictures any longer. Now I know. It's a pity that some people abuse the internet in this way.
