A Quick Update...

I have really not been very well this year at all. From the first Jan I have been hit with viral infections. No sooner as I have got over one then another comes smack, bang along and floors me. I decided to try extra vitamins and echinacea to see if this would boost my immune system. I will let you know how I get on with them.

Well I do have another finish to share. Sorry for the crude photo. Just too tired to do any of this blogging and photography malarky. Please forgive me.

LHN
Robin's Song
Stitched on white jobelan and using called for hand dyeds.

Winter finally arrived here in our neck of the woods. With it came a snow day off school - I was off anyway due to being ill but the kid enjoyed it!

Just so pretty! It has mostly melted away now. It was a great excuse to hunker down and do some stitching.

So, that's three of my Crazy January starts finished. I am working on a second block of Christmas at HRH but it does seem to take ages on 40ct.

Keep warm and I will update you soon.

I have to tell you that my favourite blog posts are always the ones that dispense with the blog/photo malarky and provide me with nice photos and a real bit of chat. I am sorry that you've been so unwell, it makes it terribly difficult to get anything done (other than feeling sorry for yourself, and I think you're entitled to that!) I do hope you will be on the mend soon! Beautiful stitching - LHN is always one of my favourites - I'm about to start her daughters' (CCN) Frosty Forest in a stitch along that's happening over on Instagram. Great snow photos - I'm partial to the white stuff - we get a lot here where I live in Canada :-)

Sorry you are not feeling well Hazel, i think there are some strange bugs going around this year, i've had 2 myself. Like you i'm trying vitamins to see if it will help.

What great photos the snow makes, can't believe you had so much, we haven't had any down here, certainly not enough to stick.

Lovely stitching and i hope you feel better soon. x

Lots of nasty germs about and working in school does not help ... hope you got yourself a flu jab earlier in the season to help combat the bugs, I think teachers should all get one free! (get well soon)
Nice finish

There does seem to be a lot of 'yuck' going around and it does seem to linger too. Hope you are feeling better, might be better when we get decent weather!

Love your finish.

Lucky you with all that lovely snow - only the slightest of flurries here and nothing managed to stick. Love the robin embroidery too. Hope you're feeling better soon. xx

Sorry you have not been well Hazel, I do hope things are improving for you by now. We never get snow like that down here so I always love to see people's snow day pics. Gorgeous LHN finish - love those designs!

Robin's Song looks great. I had never seen this one before. What a lovely finish.
Great for the kids to have a snow day. And I hope that with the spring coming you will get rid of your infections.

I do hope that you are feeling better soon. My cousin and her family have also been sick with various illness for much on this new year, it is dreadful.

Congratulations on the completion of Robin's Song, it is truly lovely.

Sorry you've been so poorly. Hope the LHN finish made you feel better!

You certainly had more snow than we did. Not even enough for the schools to shut. Much to my son's disgust!
