And the winner is.................

You have won the Tranquility chart!

Please email me your address details and I'll get it sent out to you as soon as.

I am so sorry for the delay in doing this giveaway. You see, for the last two weeks, I have been doing Jury Service at the Crown Court and have been involved in two trials. Very exciting stuff I can tell you. Pleased to say we gave two Not Guilty verdicts and now everything is back to normal and back to work.

Stitch wise, I have done a little but my pictures are seriously nothing to shout about. First up is that one of my goals for this month was to do the word PEACE on the My Big Toe sampler. Well, I actually did the word and also finished the border so all I need to do now is the backstitched scriptures. I am sure this will be a finish very soon.

Next up is a UFO from a couple of years ago which I have decided to get moving on with. It is Nan's Garden by Just Nan. I wanted to stitch this for my mum as her name is Nan and she has the most beautiful garden. I really hope I can get it finished soon. It is working up quite nicely now I have all the bits needed for it. I think after my lovely LoopyLou finish, I really have a thing for band samplers.

And lastly, I have been feeling the need for some cosy and comforting crochet but nothing too taxing, nothing too difficult, just something simple and soothing. I had a rummage upstairs to see if I had any wips ongoing that needed finishing and really, I was surprised that there weren't that many outstanding projects. A couple of hexie ones and then this Vintage Vertical Stripe one in which I was going to use all my scrap yarns up. I think it looks a bit like a rag rug but I have seen some lovely inspiring finishes on Pinterest here and here for example. So I am back at crochet - just a little.

Tracy is joining in and we're starting a CAL on Needlecraft Haven if anyone would like to join us! It would be great to see your stripes. These are very easy - probably theee easiest blankets to make in the world and clear instructions can be found here.

So that's me for now. Sorry it's taken me so long to post! I am trying to sort things out for a special birthday coming up - yes I am hitting the big 4 0 - so I might not post for a few weeks.

Hope you're all well.

The jury duty sounds interesting! Although I must say I'm waiting for a summons to arrive for me, and I'm hoping it won't come. lol! Love all your projects! I'm going to take a peek at the CAL but I have a feeling I'm not up for it right now. I will enjoy watching your progress though!

Thank you!
Lovely stitching and your stripe blanket looks lovely, I might have to investigate the pattern if you promise it is easy - I don't ever quite seem to get the hang of crochet

I stitched the JN garden piece several years ago and I still remember it being such a fun stitch. Enjoy stitching it.
Beautiful crochet, too.

Jury Service wow, that must of been interesting, I might be interested in a CAL, not that I need the extra WIPs lol I am going to be making baby blankets soon.
Nan's garden looks pretty.

Happy upcoming 4-0. I found it less traumatic (by far) than the big 3-0.

LOVE your new crochet project, by the way!
