Oh my gosh I am in a magazine!!!

...and a knitting one at that!!

Sue kindly left me a message last night telling me I was in the Jan 2011 ed of Let's Knit p77. So today I went and bought myself a copy as I was intrigued by how I could have appeared in it seeing as I don't knit that much. Okay I have made a couple of pairs of socks and some scarves and half jumpers that never got finished but I am not a "knitter" by any stretch of the imagination.

Sure enough, there was my blog on page 77. They like me!!! Oooh this thrilled me no end. Weird they picked me but hey I'm not complaining. You start to wonder how in the heck did they actually find me? Very strange. There are much better blogs out there than mine but still - it's nice to be liked.

So... I'm not very well. Lack of sleep and generally run down has made me reach for these:

Oh yes, the chocolate is indeed needful. So I just want to console myself and go to bed.. but I can't. Never mind. I'll just be consoled by the Christmas tree.

Till next time peeps, stay warm. xx

What fun! :o Congratulations!

I *wish* I could be comforted by the Christmas tree, but one of my strands of lights died (but I couldn't find more in the shops) so now I have a 1:1 ratio of gold to white lights. instead of 1:2. Ridiculous or not, this is totally killing my Christmas Tree Buzz. Yup. ;)

Feel better soon; I can't think of any better consolation than luxuriating alongside the (satisfyingly lit) Christmas Tree while eating delicious chocolate.

Of course they like you Hazel...so do I. I am sorry to hear you are not feeling well. I just heard on the news that England is having a terrible time with the flu going around. Take care to drink lots and stay warm. Put your feet up with a cup of hot tea (coffee if your tummy can take it since that is your preference) and enjoy that pretty tree of yours. Stop by and see mine since I am not going to put it up anymore. You can find it on my other blog TheCranberryChronicle.
