Cheryl's Bouquet Started

Here is a pic of my progress on Cheryl's Bouquet. I am stitching it on Polstitches 32 count "Fallen leaves" 2x2 using Carrie's Autumn Leaves threads. I am having a lot of fun stitching this and I really don't think it will take me too long if I don't leave big gaps in between stitching it.

So I really need to get cracking on Mermie and Half Sick - too many BAPs thinks I.
Hugs to everyone reading.

You have a good start on Cheryl's Bouquet, the color combination you chose is lovely. I'm looking forward to seeing more of it as it progresses.

  5. Your Cheryl's bouquet is very pretty. I will stitch it this year too one over one and will finish it as a biscornu.

  7. Cheryl's Bouquet is looking gorgeous Hazel. You have stitched a lot already so you will have it done in no time.

I have been trying to make up my mind what colours to use for the Serendipity piece today! Lol! I did think I was going to use the DMC Variations but when I looked at them I'm not sure! I am going to do the speciality stitches. I like a challenge, although I have done them all before.

  12. Hi Hazel, I made a start on Serendipity about an hour ago! Lol! It has taken me all afternoon to finally make up my mind on the colours with the help of my youngest DD! I won't be stitching on it too often so you are welcome to join me anytime. It'll be my "weekends only when I have nothing else to stitch" project! Anyway I ended up choosing DMC 3350 and 550 and a metallic black!
